route around Montjuic

If you want to go to see Montjuic this spring evening, since may to august,
and if you have a lot of time, we recommend to go to the metro, and make
the related travel below.

catch the first subway-train in Horta (line 5, blue)
and make 10 stops till "Diagonal station"
then change to line 3 (green), and make 5 stops till "Paral.lel"
in "Paral.lel station", you can take the"funicular train"
to climb to the top of the mountain in the center of the city
MONTJUIC.

IF YOU DEPART AT 16.00 hour
you cant reach the mountain at 16.30 h.

Then I recommend to do the related route around the magic mountain,.....

first take, when you leave the funicular top station, the right side to go down to
the "MOSSEN CINTO GARDENS", 100 metres distance, in the square, where
it was located the great ancient Amusement Park that service to all people in
Barcelona, since the twenties, to expend theirs weekends making a trip in the
russian mountain or the witch train, it´s wonderful to do a walk over there.

Then push the road to the top since the Castle, you can reach the top of the hill,
making service of the "teleferico", the panoramical vision it´s impressive taking
sees of the port and the center of the city, we recommend to go up to the roof
from the military building and take fotos in the late afternoon in summer or
spring.

If you leave the Castle at 17.30 hour, you can reach "MIRÓ MUSEUM" at
18.00 hour, with an hour to see the high recommended exposition for only
10 €.

Then when the sun leave the sky and the moon take its time, you can take
a walk around the Olympic area; Olympic Stadium, with his Olympic history
in 1992 all around, this summer 2012 it will be the place where it will located
the Mundial Junior Athletics in Barcelona, The Arata Isozaki Stadium, the
Picornell swimming pool, and the INEFC)

Since 21.00 hour you can stay at "POBLE ESPANYOL", for only 9.50 €
(adult price), if you reach the entrance at 20.00 hour, you can see all the
funny and typical houses, each road and square take the name of a city or
town or community of all typical places in Spain, it´s very impressive to
see the place in the evening, and you can take a dinner in its bars and
restaurants.

ALL THE PLACES RELATED ARE AROUND THE MARQUES DE COMILLAS AVENUE.

But the Montjuic jewell is its "MAGIC FOUNTAIN", that started, since
may to september, with it water games (water, colour and music) since
21.00 hour till 23.00 hour each 15 minuts one different show.
(IT WORKS THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY)

In summer, with the hot in Barcelona, the water cloud around the place will
refresh you from your long trip along the mountain in this funny day, or not?.

Then, at 23.00 hour, with the calm night, you can reach "España Square" and
visit the "ARENAS COMMERCIAL CENTER", or take a beer in "Gran via
avenue", or take the subway to retorn your hostel.

Descripcio.-

Després passavolant i visita a la "CASA LLUPIÀ" I AL LABERINT, a on

ESPERO US HAGI AGRADAT.
I SI TENIU GANES D´ACOMPANYAR-ME .......

MNACTEC technical museums in Terrassa and Manresa

In the nearest towns around Barcelona there are many museums and places
to go and see, if you are tired to go to the city center to make some typical
visits around Plaza Catalunya, you must go to Terrassa and Manresa, two
towns-cities??, from almost 220.000 habitants in the first case,  and 75.000
in the case of Manresa, that it has two importants museums dedicated to the
technical and science, it´s a route that can help you to explain who? and why?
the catalan people are like we are.

The colonial factory, dedicated to the manufacturated textile products, were
created, around the second half from the nineteen century, all along the
river Llobregat, and,.... in this location, most of this buildings still remain in
testify of his richness, this factories are now museums dedicated to show his
history and patrimony.

We recommend to go and see two of these factories, in Terrassa and Manresa,
with the richnest textile patrimony that we have in this Catalan territory, the
"Aymerich Vapor", in Terrassa, and the "ancient waterhouse" in Manresa, where
you can see old textile engines in movement, and stine engines, the heart of this
factories.

like you can see in the map from Terrassa, and buy a ticket
to Manresa (R4 Sant Vicenc-Vilafranca-Manresa),
is near from Terrassa, and both in the center
of Cataluña

When you reach Manresa station you must rent a Taxi,
the museum in Manresa is a bit far from the river!!

To return to the city you must take the "FGC" train,
near the museum, and take a ticket to "plaza España" station,
